Lately my wife's sister got inquisitive about what had happened to her first husband after they broken up. That marriage had finished badly and they hadn't been in touch for almost thirty years. Regrettably, the poor fellow had died, but at least my sister-in-law discovered reassure in making out that things had worked out for him inspite of everything.
